Ghana’s representatives in the CAF Confederation Cup Dreams FC on Sunday lost 2-0 away to Tunisian side Club Africain FC.

It was the first outing for the 2022/23 MTN FA Cup winners in the second-tier club competition of Africa.

The team went down as early as the 5th minute when Algerian striker Tayeb Meziane opened the scores at the Stade Olympique Hammadi Agrebi in Tunisia.

The 1991 African Cup of Champion Clubs winners doubled their lead in the 19th minute through Nigerian Kingsley Eduwo to end the first half.

Missed chances and opportunities characterised the second half with Dreams FC skipper Abdul Jalilu shown the exit.

The Ghanaians will next host Nigeria’s Rivers FC on Sunday, December 3 in Group C.
