Ranking Member on Parliament’s Health Committee, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has asseted that over 100 ambulances out of the 300 imported by the government have been grounded.
He has bemoaned what he calls the government’s penchant for wasting state funds by seeking to import more ambulances whilst the grounded ones are rotting away.
According to him, the 2024 Budget Statement and Economic Policy of the government is seeking to import over 100 more ambulances whilst KO measures have been adopted to repair the grounded.
The development, according to the Juaboso Member of Parliament, signifies the NPP government is bent on wasting tax payers’ money without recourse to their benefits.
Mr. Akandoh was speaking on Onua FM’s Pae Mu Ka, an afternoon political show in Friday, February 23, 2024.
