The grand finale of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) is ongoing and students of the Achimota School have resulted to prayers in expectation of a change in their fortune for the scores acquired so far after the Round 2 of the contest.

A student who spoke to Accra-based JoyNews said she was hopeful they were going to win the contest despite being many points behind leaders, PRESEC Legon, and 2 points behind Opoku Ware School who are also in the competition.

Achimota School as at the time the third round of the competition which involves the “Problem of the Day” was ongoing had obtained 12 points, Opoku Ware with 14 points and PRESEC Legon leading by 23 points.
