The Black Stars will not be at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco after failing to qualify for the tournament.
Ghana drew 1-1 against Angola, who have already qualified for the Cup of Nations, on Friday, November 15 to remain bottom of Group F.
The four-time African champions had a chance of qualifying following Niger’s thrashing of Sudan on Thursday night.
But after a stunning first-half free kick by Jordan Ayew, substitute Zini’s header consigned the West Africans to the bottom to move out of contention.
Yet to win so far, the Black Stars have only three points out of 15 with a game against Niger on Monday to go.

Their next opponents, who have four points so far, will fight for the maximum points as they can scrape through with a win if Sudan slip up.
Ghana’s absence at the tournament, which will start in December next year, will be the first time in 20 years since the team failed to join the elite international tournament on the continent.
This failure comes at a time the tournament has been expanded to 24 team as the last time the nation failed, in 2004, there were 16 participating teams.
The Black Stars will have to turn attention to the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, which continue in March next year.
