Martin Adjei- Mensah Korsah, the Minister of Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development has cautioned the public over some unscrupulous persons using his name on social media to dupe unsuspecting.
The Minister has said he has no account on social media, and has therefore advised that the public stay away from any such accounts that attempts to engage them in his name.
In a circular issued Saturday, June 08, 2024, Mr. Korsah noted that people are using his name and image to collect money from people with the promise of securing them jobs in the public service.
The Local Government Minister has asked the public to stay away from such persons.

URGENT PRESS RELEASE
My attention has been drawn to some unscrupulous people using my name and identity on facebook and other social media platforms to defraud innocent citizens under the guise of offering them opportunities for recruitment into Public Service.
I wish to indicate unequivocally that I do not operate any facebook account and for that matter, I dissociate myself from such actions by the perpetrators.
I urge all citizens to avoid such schemes and ensure that they do not fall victim to such scams.
