John Dramani Mahama’s campaign manager, Professor Joshua Alabi, has said he is confident Ghanaians will give the seat of government to the flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) after the December elections.
Prof. Alabi says the track record of Mr. Mahama whilst he was in office, compared to that of the current administration, is unprecedented.
According to the former Vice Chancellor of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), Ghanaians are fed up with Dr. Bawumia’s economic theories.
He says the promises made by the Vice President whilst in opposition, have not materialised, the reason Ghanaians would not risk handing him another opportunity to perpetuate his deceit.
The former Greater Accra Minister says the failure of the NPP government gives the NDC an upper hand over Dr. Bawumia who has been part of the mess for the past almost 8 years.
“If you have somebody who promised people one village, one dam and you don’t see it, One constituency, one million dollars, you don’t see it, One child, one chocolate, you don’t see it. One child, one laptop, you don’t see it, and these are practical things. You don’t even see anything moving on, then Ghanaians have had enough of Dr. Bawumia and his economic theory.
“We all know the performance of John Dramani Mahama when he was in office, the massive infrastructural development he did. I am very confident that we will get our flag bearer to the seat of government,” he spoke to Accra-based Citi FM following his reappointment as manager of John Mahama’s campaign team.
