Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh shares Bawumia’s vision of bold solutions – Justin Frimpong Kodua

General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Justin Frimpong Kodua has applauded the party’s choice to make Dr. Mathhew Opoku Prempeh the running mate to Dr. Bawumia in the upcoming polls.

Addressing the media on July 4 to confirm the selection of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh as the party’s running mate, Justin Frimpong Kodua described Dr. Opoku Prempeh as a man who complements Dr. Bawumia in many significant ways.

“In fact, he is a leader with a clear track record of achievement and shares Dr. Bawumia’s vision of bold solutions for our country that are responsive to the needs, opportunities and challenges of the 21^st

century. In this respect, he complements our flagbearer in many significant ways and the two enjoy a warm, personal relationship anchored on deep mutual respect,” he stated.

The party believes that the “great working relationship” between its Presidential Candidate and the running mate “coupled with their proven track-record and transformational campaign message would help the New Patriotic Party to secure a resounding third consecutive electoral victory.”

The Energy Minister, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh was confirmed as the running mate to Dr Bawumia on Thursday, July 4.

“I am happy to report that after the necessary consideration, the NC unanimously endorses Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh as the running mate of Dr Bawumia,” General Secretary of the NPP Justin Kodua Frimpong said at a press conference on Thursday.

Kodua Frimpong added “He is a charismatic, bold leader who excelled at the Ministry of Education and at the Energy Ministry.
