Northern Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Ali Adolf Mborida has questioned the competence of the flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to lead the country.
Speaking at the launch of the party’s campaign in Tamale on July 27, Ali Mborida criticized the NPP for the economic mismanagement.
He expressed the preparedness of the Regional executives to ensure NDC secures victory in the upcoming elections.
Responding to Dr. Bawumia’s notable comment of ‘I am the Driver’s mate and not the Driver’, the Regional Chairman of the NDC raised doubt about Dr. Bawumia’s competence to lead the country.
“North is ready for change; the whole country is ready for change and Insha Allah come December 7, we are going to see the change we want in favour of John Mahama.
“We are suffering because our very own brother Bawumia has totally destroyed the economy…Bawumia says give me the steer, does he have a license?” he said.
Also speaking at the launch of the party’s campaign, the National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Sammy Gyamfi said the 2024 general election will experience a change of government.
To him, Ghanaians will vote against the New Patriotic Party (NPP) because of the “incompetent Akufo-Addo government.
“Change is coming, are you ready for change,” he said during the campaign launch of the NDC in Tamale on Saturday, July 27.
