The Black Princesses have lined up a friendly with Mexico on Thursday, August 22 ahead of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.

This is part of preparations for the upcoming global tournament.

The friendly match is scheduled to be played at the Centro Deportivo Choquenza in Bogota, Colombia.

The Princesses travelled to Colombia for the tournament on Wednesday via the US, arriving the following day.

Coach Yusif Basigi had revealed three friendly matches have been arranged for the side. Aside Mexico’s, the Princesses will also play South Korea and a club side before the tournament begins on Saturday, August 31.

While Ghana are in Group E with Japan, New Zealand and Austria, Mexico are in Group A with hosts Colombia, Australia and Cameroon.

Coach Basigi on Monday named his final 21 players for the tournament.
