Two goals in each half of the late Week 2 Ghana Premier League game ensured that Vision FC walked away with all three points at the expense of last season’s second-placed side Accra Lions.

Elijah Addai scored just on the nick of half time while substitute Emmanuel Kyei Baffour scored with four minutes to end the game to get their side the maximum points.

It was the second ever top-flight game for the hosts at the Accra Sports Stadium.

They had held Berekum Chelsea to a goalless draw in their debut game in the League and were brimming with confidence going into Monday’s match.

However, it was cautious optimism as they were coming face-to-face with a side that placed second to FC Samartex in the 2023/24 League.

But after half-an-hour of even exchanges, the debutants found the rhythm and started dictating the pace.

No wonder Addai broke the deadlock before the break.
