Bibiani Gold Stars FC continue to lead the Ghana Premier League after Matchday 7 following a 2-0 win over former champions Aduana FC on Sunday, October 20.

Two goals in each half of the game at the Dun’s Park in Bibiani in the Western North Region ensured that the Miners maintain their 1-point lead.

Ronald Frimpong opened the scoring as early as the 6th minute with Samuel Atta Kumi making it 2-0 in the 73rd minute.

The win sees Stephen Frimpong Manso’s side go on 15 points, a point above Asante Kotoko, who have a game in hand.

Their next game will be against struggling Hearts of Oak at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

Sunday’s defeat for Aduana FC is their third this season. They have won only one game so far in the 2024/25 season.

Their next game will be at home against fellow former champions Medeama SC, who sit third on the log.
