The National Organiser of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye, has dismissed allegations by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) that his party has plotted to rig the December 7 elections.

Nana Boakye, the private legal practitioner described the statements as “baseless”.

Speaking on Onua FM’s Asɛm Bɛn Ni? Wednesday, November 20, Nana B, as he is popularly known, said the allegations only prove that the NDC is not ready for next month’s elections.

“It is the case that NDC are not campaigning and have put their hope in the eight-year cycle,” he told host, Captain Smart.

Sammy Gyamfi warned that the NDC will not sit aloof for such a plot to come to fruition.

He has, however, assured that a formal report will be filed with the head of military and police hierarchies for action.
