Former Ghana Premier League champions Aduana Stars FC have parted ways with Head Coach Joachim Yaw Acheampong following a string of bad results, the latest being a 2-0 home loss to struggling Asante Kotoko.

The club announced the decision after the painful loss to the Porcupine Warriors, who had suffered four consecutive losses in the League.

Yaw Acheampong had picked only two wins so far this season, drawing most of his games.

Therefore, the match against Asante Kotoko at the Nana Agyemang Badi I Park in Dormaa was his final test.

“Aduana FC and Head Coach Acheampong have parted ways effective immediately,” the club announced in a terse statement on Monday, November 25.

“We wish him the best in his future endeavours.”

Yaw Acheampong previously coached Ashanti Gold SC, Elmina Sharks and Techiman Eleven Wonders in the top-tier domestic league.
