Asante Kotoko’s resurgence under Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum continues as the Porcupine Warriors on Saturday beat Dreams FC 2-1 at the Tuba AstroTurf on Matchday 14 of the Ghana Premier League.

The match comes just after the all-important 1-0 win over archrivals Accra Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Despite playing without key striker Albert Amoah, who is on national assignment with the Black Galaxies, Asante Kotoko scored twice in the first half through Baba Yahaya and Saaka Dauda.

Jospeh Esso, however, pulled one back for the hosts about 12 minutes into the second half.

The scores stayed the same as the visitors bagged all three points.

It is now three wins in three consecutive games for Coach Ogum, who prior had gone winless five matches.

Their next game will be against Bibiani Gold Stars with Dreams FC travelling to Berekum to face Berekum Chelsea next.
