Black Queens Head Coach Nora Häuptle could be on her way out as the Executive Committee of the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) is said to have offered her a two-year deal.

Onua Sports gathers that FAZ made the offer after a meeting on Saturday, December 21.

The meeting discussed a replacement for Bruce Mwape, whose side beat Nora Häuptle’s Black Queens on their way to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The deal for Häuptle is reportedly $7,000 per month as salary.

The Swiss tactician returned Ghana to the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations after being hired in January, 2023.

She went on an unbeaten run until that 1-0 home loss to the Copper Queens in the Olympic qualifier on Wednesday, February 28.

Nora Häuptle, however, went to the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola to give the Zambians a scare with current African Women’s Footballer of the Year Barbra Banda only getting an injury-time equalizer to put the score 3-3.

Zambia will also play in the 2024 WAFCON in Group A against hosts Morocco, Senegal and DR Congo.
