Popular Ghanaian African traditional priest and spiritualist, Nana Kwaku Bonsam has warned that any appointee of President John Mahama who knows he or she is not up to the task but wants to siphon from the state should voluntarily resign or face the wrath of the gods and the people.
He mentioned in an interview with Blakk Rasta on the 3FM Urban Blend show on Friday 10th January, 2025 that unfortunately, people come into public leadership for personal aggrandizement and to enrich themselves after which they leave.

“Somebody has stolen billions of public funds meant to dredge the Korle lagoon, leaving us with floods and yet has been left off the hook. Others have stolen billions meant for road construction and other developmental projects after swearing with Bible and Quran. If these people had sworn by our deities, they would have perished by now,” he stressed.
When asked whether he still has plans to become a parliamentarian, he answered in the affirmative.
“The reason why I want to be an MP is that I perceive this is the time to get ‘Nananom’ the traditional priests and leaders into Parliament because we know our ancestors and deities would punish us if we do the wrong things” Nana Kwaku Bonsam explained.
Kwaku Bnsam contested as an independent candidate in the Offinso North constituency during the 2020 parliamentary elections polling 1305 of the total votes cast while the incumbent MP, Ntim Collins polled 18,614 votes, and NDC’s Acheampong Ceasar, 17,273.
