Ghana Premier League leaders Bibiani Gold Stars SC have been stunned by Division One side Attram DeVisser Soccer Academy in the 2024/25 MTN FA Cup.

The Round of 16 tie, which took place at the Tuba Astro Turf on Friday, February 21, saw the hosts emerge winners 4-3 on penalties after a goalless draw.

The GPL giants missed two kicks to give the Division One side the advantage to sail through.

They qualify through to the quarter-finals, becoming the first side in the 2024/25 season to make it to the last 8.

There are six more games to be played this weekend with only the Asante Kotoko-Sekondi XI Wise game postponed.

Among the GPL teams in action are Medeama SC, who will host PAC Academy, Hearts of Oak, who will travel to face Golden Kick FC, and Berekum Chelsea,who will host Northern City.

Karela United FC and Young Apostles will face each other in the all-GPL affair.
