Arsenal have announced the departures of a host of players including Jorginho and Neto at the end of June following the expiration of their contracts.
Some senior players of the women’s team as well as U-21s and U-18s will also leave the club after June 30, an update on Wednesday confirmed.
In all, 20 players will depart this summer.
They also include Raheem Sterling and Kieran Tierney, who joins Celtic this summer.
However, discussions are said to be ongoing on three players including Ghanaian Thomas Teye Partey as they also have their contracts ending after June.
The other two in this category are Polish defender Michal Rosiak and women’s player Chloe Kelly.
“Discussions are ongoing, and once matters are finalised between all parties, we will communicate in due course,” the club said about the three.
For the Ghanaian, contract extension talks are said to have slowed with FC Barcelona said to be interested in the former Atletico Madrid midfielder.
The Catalans are said to make a bid for the 31-year-old if he becomes a free agent after June.
