The Constitution Review Committee (CRC) has announced to the general public that it will embark on a nationwide series of zonal public engagements beginning June 16, 2025.
According to the Committee, these engagements a part of its mandate to solicit views, inputs, and proposals from the Ghanaian people on the review of the 1992 Constitution.
In a statement issued on June 11, 2025 and signed by Secretary to the Committee, Dr. Rainer Akumperigya, the Committee encouraged all citizens, community leaders, civil society organisations, traditional authorities, youth groups, and other stakeholders to participate actively in the upcoming engagements.
The scheduled dates for the engagement in the various Regions are as follows;
- Bolgatanga June 16–17, 2025
- Tamale June 18–19, 2025
- Wa June 23–24, 2025
- Koforidua July 3–4, 2025
- Ho July 7–8, 2025
- Accra July 10–11, 2025
- Cape Coast July 15–16, 2025
- Takoradi July 17–18, 2025
- Sunyani July 24–25, 2025
- Kumasi July 28–29, 2025
“The Constitution belongs to all Ghanaians. As such, your voices are essential to this national process,” the Committee stated.
