The WAFU U-20 Championships serves as qualifiers for the next Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
But the Black Satellites, who missed the upcoming FIFA U-20 World Cup at the 2025 U-20 AFCON, will have their work cut out as they face Benin in the next and final game on Wednesday.
Ghana missed the trophy the last time after going 1-2 down to Nigeria in the final in Togo.
They had won the first edition and are poised to add this year’s on home soil.
