Over 200 residents have been left homeless after a devastating fire outbreak gutted their wooden structures at Ahodwo High Tension in the Ashanti Region.

The fire, which started around 11 pm on Wednesday, July 9th, is suspected to have been set by a man alleged to be the former Boyfriend of one of the residents.

Victims who spoke to AKOMA News disclosed that all their properties were burnt, and they couldn’t salvage anything. “Everything is burnt, we could not take anything”’ they said.

Former KMA Presiding Member, Richard Boadi popularly known as Opoman revealed that the suspect and his ex-girlfriend were living together in one of the wooden structures.
