As part of the official partners of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League, Onua TV is all prepared for the live telecast of matches.

The local-language television channel of Media General will show three matches per weekend, starting on Friday, September 12 with the Hearts of Oak-Hohoe United encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium.

An agreement between the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and Adesa Productions Limited (APL) granted the latter the right to produce matches for broadcast.

“This framework is designed to deliver high-quality content across multiple platforms, giving fans modern and engaging viewing experiences both at home and on the go,” the GFA said on its portal.

Onua TV will, as a result, lead the broadcast of matches in the local language. Sister station TV3 will broadcast in English.

One match each will be shown on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The coverage will cement Onua TV as a top sports station, having brought style to the coverage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Highlights of the domestic matches will be shown on the network’s sports shows including Maakye Sports, which airs at 8:30am on weekdays, Agoro Fie, which airs at 3:00pm weekdays and  All Sports, which airs at 9:00pm on Mondays.
