The Black Queens are scheduled to play reigning European champions England in a friendly match on Tuesday, December 2.
The international friendly game comes a couple of months after the Ghanaians won Bronze at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco. They beat defending champions South Africa on penalties
The game against the Lionesses will be used by Head Coach Kim Lars Björkegren to test his charges ahead of preparations for the 2026 WAFCON.
The friendly with the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup finalists will be played at the St. Mary’s Stadium in Southampton.
It will be the first match for Sarina Wiegman’s side after they successfully defended their European title against Spain in July.
