Asante Kotoko have progressed to the next stage of the CAF Confederation Cup after a 1-0 away win over Nigeria’s Kwara United on Sunday, September 28.
Asante Kotoko had won the first leg 4-3 at home and needed to avoid defeat to make it to the next stage.
Hubert Gyau’s second-half strike gave Kotoko a win at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta.
The Ghanaians, therefore, won 5-3 on aggregate.
They will play Wydad Casablanca of Morocco in the final stage of qualification.
