Black Stars striker Antoine Selorm Semenyo started his Manchester City career with a sterling performance at the Etihad after the Premier League giants beat League One side Exeter Ciry 10-1 on Saturday.
It was a 3rd Round game in the 2025/26 FA Cup.
Semenyo assisted the 5th goal scored by Rico Lewis before putting his name on the scoresheet in the 54th minute.
He was named Man of the Match after the game.
City’s starting line-up had the likes of Rayan Cherki and Erling Haaland featured.
Both failed to score as the Ghanaian stole the show.
Max Alleyne began it all at the Etihad, scoring in the 12th minute.
After Rodri scored the second goal, the League One side conceded two goals in succession by their own players.
The own goals – by Jake Doyle-Hayes and Jack Fitzwater – saw Exeter City 0-4 down in the first half.
Man City continued where they left off, Lewis getting a fifth and Semenyo adding a sixth before the hour mark.
Tijani Reijnders, Nico O’Reilly and Ghanaian-born Ryan McAidoo also scored.
Before Lewis got his second, George Birch had pulled one back for the visitors.
