Ahly Bengarzy striker Albert Amoah says one of his reasons returning to Asante Kotoko on loan is to win the Ghana Premier League with the Porcupine Warriors.

He says he is back to finish what he started last year.

Speaking to the club in an exclusive interview, Amoah said he felt like going on a holiday with his stint with the Libyan side.

“It feels good and it was like it was a holiday so I feel good,” he said.

“I decided that I want to come back to Kotoko so that  I will just finish everything that I started so that i will be okay.”

Amoah left to the Libyan side under strange circumstances as his transfer was announced just after the Porcupine Warriors exited the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup qualifiers.

He admits it was a difficult decision, then, as he could not even respond to messages he received.

But he is in to prove to all that he can deliver.

“Some of the messages that you get say ‘We need you, we need you’. It makes you know that you can do it and a lot of people have belief in you and you have to work very hard and just make them happy and prove to them that you can do it.”
