A delegate at one of the polling centres in the Ablekuma North Constituency has been allowed to vote in a taxi in which he arrived at the venue.
3news’ checks indicate that the aged man walks with the aid a stick.
The polling officials therefore took the ballot paper to him in the car to vote.

In a related development, an 87-year-old woman has arrived at one of the voting centres in the Norther Region to c ast her vote.
She arrived at the centre as a pillion rider on a motorcycle.
Although she needed assistance to walk, the eagerness to cast her ballot can be seen in how quick her steps were.
The old woman is among over 211,000 delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who are voting to elect their flagbearer for the December 7, 2028 presidential election.

The candidates vying for the position are; Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, Dr Bryan Acheampong, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum and Kennedy Ohene Agyapong.
Events leading to the contest on January 31 indicate that this election is crucial as the elected candidate will face off with a yet to be known flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Although many polls have tipped Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to win, others have pointed to a Kennedy Agyapong victory. Yet Kwabena Agyepong, Yaw Osei Adutwum and Bryan Acheampong are counting on a miracle to upset the expected outcome.
That said, the real poll is underway. Thus, the close of day will definitely end the discussion, analysis and projections.
Here is the list of voting centres where all the actions will unfold:
