Black Stars and Villarreal midfielder Thomas Teye Partey has been charged with two new counts of rape.
The Crown Prosecution Service authorised the addition of these new cases at the Westminster Magistrates’ Court, where he is expected to appear on Friday, March 13.
The Ghanaian has previously been facing five counts of rape and one charge of sexual assault.
Trial at the Southwark Crown Court is scheduled to start Monday, November 2.
The 32-year-old former Arsenal player has pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
He is on bail of notifying the police of any international travel 24 hours in advance and not contacting any of the complainants.
