The Chamber of Petroleum Consumers (COPEC) is projecting marginal increases in petrol and diesel prices in the first pricing window of March 2026, while Liquefied Petroleum Gas is expected to record a slight drop.

The Chamber in its latest report on February 24 2026, cited increasing international crude prices.

The Chamber noted that, petrol prices could increase by about 3.59% while diesel is projected to rise by 1.52%. Liquefied petroleum gas, however, is expected to decline marginally by about 1.57% across fuel stations.

In the Statement, COPEC attributes the projected increases mainly to rising international fuel prices, despite a slight appreciation of the Ghana CD against the US dollar during the current pricing window.

The release further added that, based on the projections, petrol is expected to sell between 11.80 and 13.00 per litre while diesel could range between 12.73 and 14.00 per litre. LPG is projected to sell between 11.48 and 12.69 per kilogram.

Executive Secretary of COPEC, Duncan Amoah is, however, urging oil marketing companies to maintain stable prices to avoid placing additional financial pressure on consumers
