Two Police officers have died in a motorbike accident at Ofoase in the Ofoase-Ayirebi District of the Eastern Region.
The officers who were off duty, ran into a stationary tricycle while returning from Ayirebi, where they had gone to purchase chicken.
Preliminary reports indicate one of the victims was riding the motorbike, while the other was a pillion rider.
They sustained severe injuries to their heads, thighs, and legs, which led to profuse bleeding.
The rider died on the spot, while the other officer was pronounced dead on arrival at the Brenase Poly clinic.
Their bodies have been deposited at the Ofoase-Ayirebi Hospital Mortuary for preservation.
