President John Dramani Mahama has wished all Ghanaians a happy Eid ul Fitr occasion on Friday, March 20.
In his address to the nation, President Mahama said Ghana continues to be a shining example of peaceful coexistence.
He called for the peace of this nation to be safeguarded.
“Ghana continues to be a shining example of peaceful coexistence, as we participate in each other’s ceremonies, we coexist as one people.
“This harmony is a precious gift, and we must protect it. Let us reject anything that divides us.”
President Mahama also said that the government is ensuring that development reaches every corner of the country.
“We keep making sure development reaches every part of the country. The government can’t do it alone; we need a partnership,” he said.
Regarding the Middle East conflict, he said “May Allah touch the Trump and Middle East leaders to ensure this war comes to an end.”
