The New Patriotic Party, acting through its National Executive Committee and National Council, has constituted the various Standing and Sector Committees of the Party.

This decision was taken at a meeting of the National Executive Committee and National Council held on Thursday, 7th May 2026.

The Standing Committees were constituted pursuant to Article 10(2)(6) of the Party Constitution, while the Sector Committees were constituted in accordance with Articles 10(3)(8) and 14(5) of the Party Constitution.

A statement issued by General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong said that “The composition of these Standing and Sector Committees forms part of the Party’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its internal structures, deepen policy development, enhance stakeholder engagement, and reposition the Party for effective political organization and national governance.

“The committees are expected to support the Party’s strategic direction by providing expert guidance and leadership across the various sectors and thematic areas. The Party congratulates all appointed Chairpersons, Co-Chairs, Secretaries, Spokespersons and Members, and expresses confidence in their ability to discharge their responsibilities diligently and in the supreme interest of the Party and the Republic of Ghana.”
