The Head of Station at Akoma FM, Ransford Nana Osei Asare, has challenged staff of the company to give off their best in 2026 to help grow their careers and also lift the brand higher.
At a ceremony to hand a citation to Mr Paul Akuetey Akpabi as the best worker of Akoma 87.9 FM in the first quarter of the year 2026, Nana Osei Asare, commended staff for their commitment and hard work over the years, noting that it helped to sustain and grow the company in the midst of challenges.
He said this citation is in recognition of “your outstanding dedication, technical expertise, and exceptional service as a technician, ensuring reliable communication systems and operational excellence. Management also recognizes the extra effort you exhibited by taking up other responsibilities whenever the need arises. You have moved from your operational area (Technical) to assist in other operations (DJ) leaving no operational gap.
This single act continues to fuel the growth of Akoma 87.9 FM. Your humility and respect for all cannot be overemphasized and your selfless attitude is worth emulating. Your accolade DJ Tunnlee is gradually becoming a household name and we pray God continue to make you great and strong. We celebrate you senior Paul, as Akoma 87.9 DM Best Worker for the first quarter 2026.
Mr Paul Akuetey Akpabi dedicated his award to his colleagues who have contributed to his success story.
He pledged his support for the growth of the company and promised to do more. He called for effective collaboration from colleagues towards the development of our brand.
He said it was incumbent on all staff members to realise that they owe it a duty to give off their best to help build a stronger brand and company that can reward our energies and time.
“From this day, determine to be a professional who does the very best you can”, he said, noting that he was confident in abilities of all staff.
He commended Management for the award and promised not to relent in his effort.
