Lawyers for the wife of the embattled former Chief Executive Officer of the National Buffer Stock Company, Faiza Seidu Wuni, have applied for the release of her passport from the Registrar of the High Court to enable her travel outside the country.
In an affidavit filed by the lawyers on July 22 and sighted by 3news, they intend to move the court on July 28, 2026.
“PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that this Honourable Court will he moved by Counsel for the 2. Accused/Applicant herein praying for an order for the release of the 2nd accused person’s passport and leave of this Honourable Court to travel out of the jurisdiction with her son to seek medical attention and any such order(s) as this Court may deem fit.
COURT TO BE MOVED ON 28th DAY OF July, 2126 in the forenoon or soon thereafter as this Honourable Court may deem fit and appropriate,” the motion reads in part.
According to Madam Faiza Wuni, she intends to seek medical treatment for their 8-year-old son, Aludiba Hanan Saad Wuni-mi.
“That my son, was first diagnosed with social and emotional difficulties and executive functioning challenges as recorded in the individual education plan (IEP) issued by the Ghana International School on 10th September 2025. A copy of the individual educational plan is attached herewith and marked as Exhibit B
That following this diagnosis concerning my son’s health, I sought a psychological assessment of my son from Mission Paediatrics on 13th July 2026, wherein, the attending clinician recommended a comprehensive assessment to evaluate his intellectual functioning together with a continued management of his attention- deficit/ hyperactivity disorder (ADHS). A copy of the assessment dated 13. July 2026 is attached herewith and marked as Exhibit C,” the affidavit in support of the motion explained.
