New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) National Organiser, Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B), has received endorsements from three Members of Parliament in the Ashanti Region in his bid to become the party’s next 1st Vice Chairman.
The endorsements came during Nana B’s tour of the region, where he engaged Members of Parliament, party executives and supporters as part of his campaign for the position, on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.
The MPs, Vincent Ekow Assafuah of Old Tafo, Professor Kingsley Nyarko of Kwadaso, and Akwasi Konadu of Manhyia North, each expressed confidence in Nana B’s experience, loyalty and leadership abilities.
The Old Tafo MP, Vincent Ekow Assafuah, described Nana B as a “tested party leader” and a loyal party member, arguing that his energy and experience make him the right choice for 1st Vice Chairman.
Kwadaso MP, Prof. Kingsley Nyarko, also endorsed Nana B, describing him as bold, courageous and hardworking.
He said Nana B has his full support and expressed confidence in his ability to provide the leadership the party needs.
For the Manhyia North MP, Akwasi Konadu, Nana B’s understanding of both the NPP and its grassroots makes him suitable for the position.
He expressed the view that Nana B’s leadership could help position the party for victory in the 2028 general elections.
The endorsements add to Nana B’s campaign momentum as the contest for the NPP’s 1st Vice Chairman position gathers pace.
