The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will officially open nominations for its 2026 Regional Executive Elections on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
The party announced this in a press release issued by the National Secretariat on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.
The statement, signed by Deputy General Secretary Barbara Serwaa Asamoah, for the General Secretary, said the exercise will be conducted in line with the general timetable earlier released with reference NDC/HQ/25-3/103 on August 5, 2026.
The party described it as an important stage in its electoral process and encouraged members who intend to contest the various regional executive positions to take advantage of the process within the prescribed period.
The party also urged aspirants and members to conduct themselves with discipline, decorum and respect for its democratic values to ensure a transparent, peaceful and successful process.
