The Ashanti regional Security Council has asked the police to declare the students’ leadership of the Krobea Asante Technical Institute (KATI) wanted.
This directive is linked to a student protest in the school last Sunday.
Chairman of the Council and Regional Minister Simon Osei-Mensah who gave the order also confirms a five-member committee would be set up to investigate the January 22 incident.

The protest on campus led to the destruction of properties, forcing authorities to shutdown the school.
Regional Minister Simon Osei-Mensah who has since condemned the actions by the students said anybody found culpable will not go unpunished.
More than 40 students of the school were arrested for causing damage to school property.
The students went on rampage on Sunday, protesting the poor results of their predecessors in their final examination.
OnuaOnline’s William Evans-Nkum reported about four government vehicles and two others owned by the teachers were destroyed.
The school’s stores were also not spared by the rampaging students, also destroying several food items and supplies.
The police quick reponse restored calm on campus.
