Ningo Prampram legislator, Sammuel Nartey George has slammed Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia for exhibiting his football prowess rather than that of the economy.
Sam George says the rambles confronting the economy is an issue so serious to bother the Head of the Economic Management Team rather than showing how skillful he is in football.
The Vice President in his goodwill message for the Black Stars ahead of their FIFA World Cup campaign displayed some skills with a ball, a move Sam George thinks is irrelevant especially in the midst of these economic disturbances.
In a Facebook post, the vociferous MP tagged the Vice President asking him to live up to the ‘economic wizkid’ he was preached to Ghanaians rather than displaying the attributes of a Black Stars Captain.
“When the head of the Economic Management Team is
showing football skills at a time our economy is in the
KVIP and our currency is toilet paper value, you know we
have a major issue.
“Fix the economy Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. You were sold
to us as an Economic Wizkid not Black Stars captain.
Abufus3m!” he posted.
