Deputy Finance Minister, Charles Adu Boahen has denied the allegations being levelled against him by the TigerEye Private Investigation team.

Following a publication of the content in a yet to be premiered documentary dubbed ‘Galamsey Economy’ citing Mr Adu Boahen for extracting monies from investors with the Vice President’s name, President Akufo-Addo Monday forenoon sacked the deputy Finance minister.

Few hours after the sacking, the then minister went on his Facebook wall and denied the allegations, adding that he has tendered in his resignation because he doesn’t want to be a distraction to the government.

“Substantively I have not been involved in this act of which I am being accused,” he stated.

“Consequently I have submitted my resignation to the President of the Republic. I will however look forward to a full investigation which I hope will reveal that I have not committed this act,” the post added.
