A video has emerged on social media having the Member of Parliament for Dome Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo, having fun in Dubai. 

The video which netizens have reacted with mixed reactions has Adwoa Safo and her son, Kelvin, at the Dubai Miracle Garden taking off some stress.

This comes a few weeks after losing the bid in the NPP parliamentary primaries to recontest the constituency seat on the ticket of the party.

Adwoa Safo abandoned her constituency for close to two years which caused a lot of disaffection for her in the party, causing the Majority caucus to call for her seat to be declared vacant.

The move, which was resisted by the Minority could not suffice after the motion dismissed by the Speaker.

In a video shared on X by SikaOfficial, the legislator said she is in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to take some off some stress.

 

The former Gender Minister had 326 votes while her three time contender, Mike Ocquaye Jnr., secured a landslide victory with 1,104 votes.

Sheela Oppong Sakyi, a legal practitioner and strategist at the Office of the First Lady obtained 186 votes.
