The Black Stars touched down in La Côte d’Ivoire a couple of hours after leaving Kumasi aboard an Air Côte d’Ivoire flight for the Africa Cup of Nations.
Clad in classy jumpers with Kente to match, designed by CutOut Ghana, the team touched down at the Félix Houphouët Boigny International Airport in Abidjan and was welcomed with dancing and drumming.
The tournament, the 34th edition, will begin on Saturday, January 13 and already participating nations are arriving for the tournament.
1976 Champions Morocco were among the first to arrive in Abidjan for the tournament.

Nigeria’s Super Eagles, who have been paired in Group A alongside the hosts, touched down a few minutes after the Black Stars.

The four-time champions will begin their campaign on Sunday, January 14 with a clash against Cape Verde.
They will later play Egypt and Mozambique in Group B.
