Ranking Member on Parliament’s Health Committee, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, is saying President Akufo-Addo was aware the Agenda 111 project was going to be completed by John Dramani Mahama.
The lawmaker says the assurance the President gave Ghanaians of handing over the project to the citizenry in January 2025 before leaving office was something Akufo-Addo himself was certain would not see the light of day.
Buttressing his assertion with documentation on Onua FM’s Pae Mu Ka Friday, March 23, 2024, the Member of Parliament for Juaboso said the project is fraught with corruption to the extent that, it has been reduced to a family and friends venture with all the contracts being sole-sourced without avenue for competitive bidding.
