A 20-year-old mentally deranged man has inflicted cutlass wounds on three persons at Agona Namawuraa in the Agona East district of the Central region.
Reports indicate this is the second time the young man is slashing people with a machete in the community.
Residents who are mostly farmers in an interview with Onua News expressed fret over the situation as they fear to visit their farms alone.
Following the incident, some irate youth in the area allegedly attacked the mother of the suspect at their family house, wrecking their three bedroom apartment.
The victims have since been sent to the Agona Swedru Municipal Hospital for treatment whilst the culprit has taken to his heels.
The odikro of Agona Namawura, Nana Otoo Acheampong II, has expressed displeasure about the situation.
