In court on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, Chief Inspector Nana Afua Bamfoa Bamfo informed the court that the prosecution was yet to hear from the Attorney-General after forwarding the docket.

Per the brief facts of the case, tensions escalated in June 2018 when former Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong, broadcasted images of Ahmed Suale on Net2 TV, calling for retribution against the investigative journalist.
The prosecution narrated that after probing, Ahmed Suale later identified Daniel as the one who provided Ken Agyapong with his photographs and confronted him through a WhatsApp chat.
