Flagbearer Hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen has completed his two-day tour of the Ashanti region.
Mr. Kyerematen, who is contesting the fourth time to seek the mandate of the NPP to lead them to the national polls says he received a “thunderous applause and show of massive support by residents of the ‘World Bank’ of the elephant family.
“The thousands of people who lined the streets in an outpouring show of love at every opportune time as l drove round the city was indeed heart-warming,” he indicated.

The former Trade and Industry ministry paid a courtesy call on the overlord of the Asante Kingdom, Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu Ababio, Nana Konadu Yiadom III, the Asantehemaa and the Asanteman Traditional Council at the Manhyia Palace.
Mr. Kyerematen later met with the NPP Ashanti Regional Executive Committee, patriots of the party, Queen Mothers, the Media and other stakeholders purposely to say thank you for the years of support and cooperation in his professional and political career as well as his political aspirations in the immediate future.
Alan Kyerematen is keenly contesting the flagbearership with Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, Assin Central MP, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong and some others.
