The Black Stars continued their preparations for Friday’s FIFA World Cup qualifier against Chad.

The team held their second public training session at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday, March 18.

All 23 called-up players including Lawrence Agyekum, who received a late call-up as a replacement for injured Elisha Owusu, also joined the session.

Head Coach Otto Addo was seen issuing out playing tips to the players, a marked departure from what was witnessed on Day 1, when Technical Advisor Winfried Schäfer appeared to be leading the charges.

Mohammed Kudus, Iñaki Williams, Thomas Partey and Jordan Ayew, who were absent on Day 1, took part in Tuesday’s session.

After the exercise, former striker and Ghana’s all-time leading goal scorer Asamoah Gyan was seen giving some tips to Kudus.

The West Ham United midfielder has failed to score for the Stars since his brace against Egypt at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The Stars will pay Chad’s Les Sao on Friday as they seek to top Group I.

Ghana have so far lost once and won their last three games.

They will play Madagascar in Morocco three days after the Chad game.
