A Michael Tenadu strike in the 14th minute handed Asante Kotoko a 1-0 win over Basake Holy Stars on Sunday.
The win at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Matchday 25 shot the Porcupine Warriors top of the Ghana Premier League (GPL).
They have a total of 42 points.
Before Sunday’s fixtures, Bibiani Gold Stars SC had leapfrogged Kotoko to the apex of the League after a win over Basake Holy Stars.

But a 1-1 draw against Hearts of Oak at the Bibiani DUN’s Park on Matchday 25 saw them drop points.
Kotoko’s next match will be away to Heart of Lions.
