The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has urged party members to retain hardworking branch executives and vote out those he believes are not contributing meaningfully to the growth of the party.

He made the call as part of his thank-you tour of the Western North region, where he engaged party supporters and grassroots leaders on the future of the party ahead of the upcoming branch elections.

According to Mr. Asiedu Nketia, strong and committed leadership at the branch level remains critical to building a vibrant and effective party structure.

He stressed that branch executives serve as the backbone of the party and must demonstrate dedication, discipline, and consistent engagement with party members.

The NDC Chairman encouraged delegates to objectively assess the performance of current executives and prioritize competence, loyalty, and hard work when casting their votes.

He further noted that internal elections should strengthen unity within the party rather than create division, urging members to conduct the process peacefully and in strict accordance with the party’s constitution.

Mr. Asiedu Nketia’s thank-you tour forms part of broader efforts by the party’s leadership to reconnect with grassroots supporters, reinforce internal democracy, and position the party strongly for future political engagements.
