The Member of Parliament for Atiwa West, Korkor Asante, has extended financial support to 200 brilliant but needy first year Senior High School Students in the constituency.

This initiative aims to bridge the educational gap and empower more students to pursue secondary education without financial barriers.

Speaking at the launch of the financial support scheme, Personal Assistant to the MP, Lawrencia Agyeiwaa, described Madam Korkor Asante’s initiative as a historic milestone for the constituency.

“This initiative marks a first in the constituency’s history, demonstrating her dedication to education as a catalyst for development,” she said.

“By investing in the education of our young people, we are laying the foundation for a future filled with opportunity, innovation, and progress. It is my hope that these students will one day become leaders who contribute meaningfully to the growth of Atiwa West and Ghana as a whole.” She added.

Residents and community leaders commended the MP for her visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to the welfare of students.

“We applaud Hon. Korkor Asante for her tireless efforts to promote education and empower the youth in Atiwa West,” one of them said.

Community members say they are eager to witness the long-term impact of the program on education and development in the area.
