Former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has wished all Ghanaians a happy 69th Independence Day celebration.
Ghana marks its 69th Independence Day on Friday, March 6. Ghana obtained independence on 6th March 1957.
This year’s anniversary is themed ‘Building Prosperity, Restoring Hope’.
Dr Bawumia in a post on his Facebook page said, “Happy 69th Independence Day to my fellow Ghanaians with a collective resolve. Let us build a Ghana of opportunity and hope for all citizens.”
The national parade will take place at Jubilee House, the seat of government.
Members of the diplomatic corps, the clergy, traditional leaders and other dignitaries are expected to participate in the event.
